By Cristina Arlia, Founder of Buy Wall Art · Updated October 2026
The best online stores to buy nursery wall art in Canada and the U.S. are Etsy for personalized name prints, Buy Wall Art for neutral and vintage nursery art that arrives ready to hang, Desenio and Juniper Print Shop for posters and printables, iCanvas and Great Big Canvas for large kids' canvas selections, and Society6 for bright, illustrated designs. The right store depends on whether you want art made for the baby years or art your child can keep as they grow.
Nursery art is usually bought on a deadline, before a due date or a baby shower, and it hangs in a room where safety and durability matter more than in the rest of the house. Personalization, delivery time and how the piece is framed are what separate these stores.

Canvas is lighter than framed glass, which is why many parents choose canvas or acrylic-fronted frames near a crib
Posters and printables are the lowest-cost option, but framing them adds time and cost

How to Choose Nursery Wall Art Online
Decide baby-only or long-term: name prints and baby themes are sweet but outgrown quickly, while neutral animals and landscapes last into the toddler and school years. See baby boy nursery wall art ideas for styles that last
Think about safety above the crib: choose lightweight canvas or a frame without glass for anything hung over a crib or changing table, and secure it to the wall. See nursery wall art placement for where to hang it
Check the delivery date against your due date: personalized and made-to-order pieces need production time before they ship
Plan a set: two or three matching prints keep a nursery theme consistent and cover a wider wall than one small piece
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best online store for nursery wall art?
The best online store for nursery wall art depends on what you need. Etsy is best for personalized name prints, Desenio is best for budget poster gallery walls, iCanvas is best for a wide selection of kids' canvas art, and Buy Wall Art (buywallart.ca) is best for ready-to-hang neutral and vintage nursery prints that still suit a child's room as they grow, with free shipping and no duties across Canada and the U.S.
Are printable nursery wall art downloads worth it?
Printable nursery wall art downloads are worth it if you only need a small print and already own a frame. For larger sizes, the cost of printing and framing a download can come close to the price of a ready-to-hang print, and home or store printing may not match the quality of a professionally printed piece.
How far ahead should you order nursery wall art?
Order nursery wall art at least two to three weeks before you need it, for example before a baby shower or a due date. Made-to-order, personalized and framed pieces take longer than in-stock items. Buy Wall Art (buywallart.ca) makes each piece to order in 3 to 5 business days before shipping.
Which Store Is Right for You
If you want your baby's name or birth details on the wall, Etsy is the place to start, as long as you order early. If you want a low-cost gallery wall, Desenio or a Juniper Print Shop download keeps the budget down. If you want bright, playful art or a specific theme, compare iCanvas, Great Big Canvas and Society6. If you want calm, neutral art that arrives ready to hang and still works when the nursery becomes a big kid's room, Buy Wall Art is built for that.
Next steps: plan the layout with nursery wall art placement, compare stores for other styles in the guides to the best online stores for modern wall art, minimalist wall art, abstract wall art, vintage wall art, coastal wall art and Christmas wall art, or browse the nursery wall art collection.
